Join the Syrian Emergency Task Force as we welcome our newest kindergarten students to our eighth class at the Wisdom House! The students’ families were eager to register and, after only three hours, over 130 students were signed up for class with additional children placed on the waiting list.
The incoming class will enjoy several updates to the Wisdom House
- This school year we moved into a new building with an additional classroom and we are planning to build a new playground for students to enjoy during their breaks.
- The teachers have been working around the clock to prepare the classroom for the students, painting the walls with colorful art that has already filled the children with joy and excitement to start their kindergarten journey.
- The ground has recently been leveled outside and the windows have been secured for the safety of the students and teachers.
However, our students are still in dire need of materials. Each child needs a uniform, backpack, and individual supplies, and the Wisdom House is in need of new printers, speakers, microphones, and pistachio shells to heat the classrooms throughout the colder months.
In light of this, our goal is to raise $10,000 to cover school expenses and prepare the students and teachers for another successful year, but we need your help.
